With a wealth of experience in aged care, plan management and support coordination, I've had the privilege of assisting numerous individuals and families in navigating the complexities of the NDIS.

As a parent of a son who is a participant in the NDIS, I understand firsthand the joys, challenges, and hopes that come with being part of this vital scheme.

In addition to my work in support coordination, I'm currently pursuing studies in counseling. My decision to study counselling comes from a desire to provide holistic support to participants facing various challenges, including those related to disability and mental health.

Throughout her career, Giselle has worn many hats, support worker, service coordinator, and day program manager, always dedicated to providing vital services to individuals of all ages.

With over 16 years of lived experience navigating the NDIS alongside her son, combined with professional experience as an Allied Health Assistant, Sabreena understand both the practical and personal sides of the NDIS journey.

Whether you’re new to the NDIS or looking for someone to help you get more from your plan, Sabreena takes the time to understand what matters most to you. She works alongside participants, families and providers to create supports that are practical, personalised and centred around your goals.

Joan is a compassionate and dedicated Support Coordinator with a background in Social Work and experience across a variety of disability and social services around Sydney. She feels incredibly lucky to work in a space where she can listen to people’s stories, build meaningful connections, and walk alongside them through both challenges and celebrations.

What Joan loves most about her role is being able to support people in a way that’s authentic, person-centred, and empowering. Her calm presence, curiosity, and kindness shine through in everything she does!

With a background in administration, translation, and community support, Alexandra brings a wealth of professional experience and a deep understanding of the importance of clear communication and connection.

Having supported her son, who lives with a significant disability, Alexandra has personal insight into the experiences, responsibilities, and challenges many families navigate. Her caring and organised approach supports the Vida Connects team in providing meaningful and person-centred services to participants and their families.

With a background in People and Culture and operations, Ioli brings a thoughtful, human centred approach to her work. She is passionate about creating workplaces where people feel supported, respected and empowered to do their best work.

Throughout her career, Ioli has worked across organisational development, leadership support and team operations. She focuses on building strong foundations that allow teams to deliver meaningful, high quality care.

Marketing & Communications Lead

Joanna is Vida Connects’ Marketing & Communications Lead, bringing a creative background in visual arts, photography, design and visual storytelling to the role.

She leads Vida’s marketing and promotional communications, creating written and visual content across social media, the website and broader marketing materials. From shaping Vida’s visual identity and online presence to sharing the stories of our participants, Support Workers and team, Joanna helps communicate who we are and what we do in a clear, engaging and authentic way
